How can acupuncture help me NOT to gain weight this Holiday Season?
We use very small acupuncture needles in your ears. Before you leave, we place "ear seeds" in your ear as "acupuncture to go" to help your brain keep those hunger messages at bay! The "ear seeds" are small, metal balls (gold, silver or titanium) placed in acupuncture points of the ear and secured with hypo-allergenic tape. You're taught to activate the points by slowly rubbing the "seeds" in order to send satiety messages to the hypothalamus.

Additionally, you are given a 3 day food diary form to fill out. We only ask you to tell what you've eaten for 2 week days and one day on the week-end. We put your information into the Diet Analysis computer program. We give you the 10 page print out and go over the report with you.
We give you suggestions and recommendations for healthy eating well during the holiday season, including healthy recipes. We give you a free spreadsheet for tracking your diet and helping you stop eating at a certain caloric intake.
